and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -136
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord-
ance with said contract:
Grading, Base Surfacing Project No. 1969 -46 (Contract 1969 -F)
67th Avenue No. from approx. 135 feet west of Bryant Avenue
to Lyndale Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $9,558.22 because of the following reasons:
a) $7,581.00 reduction is due to the deletion of sidewalk;
b) $1,410.00 reduction is due to a decrease in the quantity
of subgrade excavation and common excavation; and
c) the remaining difference is due to general over estimation
of plan quantities.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on August 10, 1970, taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
