resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -150
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTING
CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND SIDEWALK FOR THE NEW
CITY HALL AND COMMUNITY CENTER PARKING LOTS AND
DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City Council approved plans and specifications
for the City Hall and Community Center building by Resolution No.
70 -27 adopted February 23, 1970
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center as follows:
1. The specifications for constructing concrete curb
and gutter and sidewalk for the new City Hall and Community
Center parking lots are hereby approved and ordered filed
with the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall advertise for bids for such work
by publication at least once in the official newspaper, the
date of publication being not less than ten days prior to the
date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accomp-
anied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or
certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of
not less than 5% of the bid.
3. Bid date is set for Monday, September 14, 1970 at
2 :00 P.M., Central Daylight Time.
4. The City Manager and the City Engineer shallbe authorized
to open and tabulate the bids.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary,,
Vernon Ausen and Howard Heck;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
