resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -151
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR BITUMINOUS PAVING
OF NEW CITY HALL AND COMMUNITY CENTER PARKING LOTS AND
DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, the City Council approved plans and specifications
for the City Hall and Community Center building by Resolution No.
70 -27 adopted February 23, 1970
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center as follows:
1. The specifications for bituminous paving for the
new City Hall and Community Center parking lots are hereby
approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk shall advertise for bids for such work
by publication at least once in the official newspaper, the
date of publication being not less than ten days prior to the
date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by
a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check
payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than 50
of the bid.
3. Bid date is set for Monday, September 14, 1970 at
2:05 P.M. Central Daylight Savings Time.
4. The City Manager and the City Engineer shall be authorized
to open and tabulate the bids.

Vernon Aus en and Howard Heck;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
