HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-012 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -12 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE 27, 500 GVW DUMP TRUCK AND ONE CAB AND CHASSIS ONLY WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on Tuesday, January 6, 1970 at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids for furnishing of dump trucks and cab and chassis only, and that said bids were as follows: One 27,500 GVW Dump Truck NET w/ 72" CA; TOTAL Less TOTAL COST Trade -in COST Market Ford 7156.10 600.00 6556.10 Iten Chevrolet 7912.00 350.00 7562.00 Bill Boyer Ford 7405.00 500.00 6905.00 One Cab Chassis only w/ 10 2 CA: Market Ford 5795.10 300.00 5495. 10 Iten Chevrolet 6541.00 150.00 6391.00 Bill Boyer Ford 6060.00 150.00 5910.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Market Ford in the amount of $6, 556.10 for the furnishing of One 27, 500 GVW Dump Truck, including options and less trade in, and $5,495.10 for the furnishing of One Cab and Chassis only, including options and less trade -in, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. February 2, 1970 Date O Mayor ATTEST: lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
