moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -13
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE 1/2 TON
PICKUP TRUCK
WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on Tuesday,
January 6, 1970 at 2:00 P.M., they opened and tabulated bids for furnishing
1/2 ton pickup trucks and that said bids were as follows:
Total Cost
Freeway Ford 2036.68*
Market Ford 2062.98
Downtown Chevrolet 2098.88
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center that the bid of Freeway Ford in the amount of $2,036. 68 for
the furnishing of One 1/2 ton Pickup Truck, including options, in accordance
with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a
responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen,
Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
