HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-015 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -15 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ONE 3/4 TON PICKUP TRUCK WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on Tuesday, January 6, 1970 at 2 :00 P.M., they opened and tabulated bids for furnishing 3/4 ton pickup trucks and that said bids were as follows: Total Cost Downtown Chevrolet 2414.10* Freeway Ford 2484.28 Iten Chevrolet 2430.03 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Downtown Chevrolet in the amount of $2,414. 10 for the furnishing of One 3/4 Ton Pickup Truck, including options, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. February 2, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
