resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -17
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NO. 1970 -2 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to
initiate Water Main Improvement Project No. 1970 -2;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer
to prepare plans and specifications for said Water Main
Improvement Project No. 1970 -2, described as follows:
1970 -2 Water Main
69th Avenue North from Dupont Avenue to Bryant
Avenue; on City property overlying the northerly
extension of Bryant Avenue North from 69th Avenue
to 70th Avenue; 70th Avenue North from the northerly
extension of Bryant Avenue to Camden Avenue; and
Camden Avenue North from 70th Avenue to a point
approximately 650 feet north of 70th Avenue.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
