HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-027 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO.70 -27 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. The plan specifications for the Municipal Civic Center Complex hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin on March 5, March 12 and March 19, 1970 Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City of Brooklyn Center in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Thursday, March 26, 1970 at 2 :00 P.M. Central Standard Time. 4. The City Manager and the City Clerk shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. February 23, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary and Howard Heck; (Vernon Ausen abstained) and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
