HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-028 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -28 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 69 -355 SETTING WAGES AND SALARIES FOR THE YEAR 1970 WHEREAS, on December 30, 1969, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 69 -355 setting wages and salaries for the year 1970; and WHEREAS, the 1970 salary of the then Director of Public Works was inadvertently carried forward at the 1969 level; and WHEREAS, it is deemed fair and equitable by the City Council to correct such oversight: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED to amend Resolution No. 69 -355 by establishing the Director of Public Works salary level at $1,467.00 for the month of January 1970, and at $1,333.00 per month for the remainder of 1970. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be directed to compensate the then Director of Public Works according to the terms of this resolution. G February 23, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Vernon Ausen and Howard Heck; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted.
