HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-030 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -30 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM (CONTRACT 1970 -A WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT NO.1970 -2) WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported that on March 5, 1970, at 11:00 o'clock -A.M., central standard time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Water Main Improvement Project No. 1970 -2 (Contract 1970 -A), and that said bids were as follows: SECTION A ALTERNATE BIDS SECTION B TOTAL AMT. NO BID NO BID 79,787.00 25 105 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Dycon Corporation in the amount of $81,273.39, as to furnishing of all work, labor, and material in connection with the above mentioned improvement project covered by Contract 1970 -A, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with said bidder.
