HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-038 CCR Member John Leary y introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -38 RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR 1250 GPM FIRE PUMPER AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows; 1. The specifications for one 1250 GPM fire pumper are hereby approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk. 2. The City Clerk shall advertise for bids for such equipment by publication at least once in the official newspaper, the date of publication being not less than ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Tuesday, April 21, 1970 at 2:00 P.M. Central Savings Time. 4. The City Manager and the City Clerk shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. March 30, 1970 Mayor ATTEST: Clerk iite k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard. and the following voted against the same: none. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
