HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-043 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -43 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR STABILIZED GRAVEL AND FINE AGGREGATE FOR SEAL COAT WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 7, 1970, at 10 :00 A.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of stabilized gravel and fine aggregate for seal coat and that said bids were as follows: Buck- Buck- Crushed Crushed BA -2 BA -2 Cl. 5 C14 -5 FA -1 Shot shot Rock Rock Bidder Del. McCrossan 1.90 1.15 1.90 1.15 .60 NB NB NB NB Anderson Aggregate 1.47 .85 1.47 .85 .65 2.62 2.00 NB NB NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Asphalt Paving for the furnishing of BA -2 gravel and Class 5 gravel in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Anderson Aggregate for the furnishing of FA -1 and Buckshot in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Bryan Dresser for the furnishing of Crushed Rock, in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 13, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST _6eri The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
