HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-044 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -44 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CORRUGATED METAL PIPE WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on April 7, 1970, at 10:00 A.M. the opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of corrugated metal pipe and that said bids were as follows: 1511 711 1211 711 Bidder CMP CMP CMP CMP Total All Steel Products 2.96 2.96 2.49 2.49 11,44 &.00 Armco Steel Corp. 2.86 2.86 2.41 2.41 11,067.00 H.V. Johnston Culvert 2.67 2.67 2.24 2.24 10, 311.00 Northern Culvert 2.61 2.61 2.20 2.20 10, 101.00 Viking Steel Products 3.15 3.15 2.65 2.65 12,180.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Northern Culvert for the furnishing of corrugated metal pipe in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. April 13, 1970_ Date j Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard., and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
