HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-052 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -52 RESOLUTION CORRECTING ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1968 -46 ON LOT 8, BLOCK 1, ELLSWORTH ADDITION WHEREAS, Lot 8, Block 1, Ellsworth Addition (Plat 89350, Parcel 1600) was assessed for street surfacing and sod replacement on Improvement Project No. 1968 -46 for a total of 124.43 feet; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center sent a letter to the owner of said property dated June 23, 1969, stating that any area that was not sodded by the property owner would be sodded by the City, and WHEREAS, the property owner did sod a portion of his boulevard, and the sod assessment should have been for 45.06 feet instead of 124.43 feet; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to direct the County Auditor to reduce the assessment for street surfacing (Levy #4678) as follows: Levy #4678: Original (Bond Fund Assessment Correct to 1970 Installment 69 -A) $540.92 $497.95 $120.99 April 13, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following,voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willed; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
