HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-060 CCR Member Vernon Ausen introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -60 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL EXPENDITURES FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE RADIO EQUIPMENT WHEREAS, on June 9, 1969, Resolution No. 69 -249 was adopted by the City Council authorizing the purchase of police radio equipment through the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement in the amount of $4,314.00; and WHEREAS, in order that this equipment can be adapted into the radio system in the new City Hall, it is necessary to make changes in the equipment increasing the cost $95.00; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Civil Defense participation in the amount of $600.00 apparently is not forthcoming: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the City Manager be authorized to expend the amount of $695.00 from the Police Capital Outlay budget to cover the cost for changes necessary for console adaptation.
