HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-061 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -61 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF COLD WATER METERS WHEREAS, the City Clerk and City Engineer have reported that on May 12, 1970, at 2 :00 P.M., they opened and tabulated bids received for furnishing and delivery of cold water meters and that said bids were as follows: 700 10 10 30 5/8x3/4" 3/4" 1 1 -1/2" w/ tail w/ tail w/ tail w/ tail Bidder pieces pieces pieces pieces Power Process 34.00 50.00 75.05 138.00 Neptune 39.35 57.65 84.64 158.30 Davies 36.50 53.14 78.02 146.51 Campbells, Inc. 39.41 59.19 86.45 165.68 Badger Meter, Inc. 38.75 56.83 83.25 156.06 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of Power Process Equipment, Inc, for the furnishing and delivery of displacement type cold water meters, with tail pieces, as reflected in the above tabulation for sizes 5/8 "x 3/4", 3/4"' ill and 1-1/2", in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted.
