HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-073 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution .and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -73 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Dycon Corporation has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER, STORM SEWER AND WATER MAIN SERVICES TO THE NEW CITY HALL AND COMMUNITY CENTER. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the contract amount by $153.51 due to change in location of Storm Sewer structure. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on June 8, 1970 taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $5,303.51 June 8, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk I The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Vernon Ausen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck, and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
