HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-076 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -76 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A HIGHWAY LIGHTING MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brooklyn Center enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways, for the following purposes, to -wit: To maintain and provide electric energy for 7 400 watt mercury vapor lighting units on Trunk Highway No. 100 at Lushine Drive and Ramp "B" and "C" in the City, in accordance with said agreement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager be and they hereby are authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. June 22, 19 7 0 Date Mayor ATTEST: _L erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, and Howard Heck; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
