HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-081 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -81 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -8 AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -9 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center requesting Water Main Improvement Project No. 1970 -8 and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1970 -9, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate Water Main Improvement Project No. 1970 -8 and Sanitary Sewer Improve- ment Project No, 1970 -9, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement projects, described as follows: 1970 -8 Water Main James Avenue North from 65th Avenue to 67th Avenue and 67th Avenue North from James Avenue to approximately 220 feet east of James Avenue. 1970 -9 Sanitary Sewer James Avenue North from approximately 430 feet north of 65th Avenue to 67th Avenue and 67th Avenue North from James Avenue to approximately 200 feet east of James Avenue. June 22, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Cld'rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary and Howard Heck; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
