and moved its adoption_:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -82
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STORM SEWER IMPROV MENT PROJECT NO.
1970 -10, WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO 1970 -11, AND
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -12 AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Brooklyn Center requesting Storm Sewer Improvement
Project No. 1970 -10, Water Main Improvement Project No.. 1970 -11,
and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project No. 1970 -12, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate
said improvement projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans
and specifications for said improvement projects, described as follows:
1970 -10 Storm Sewer
Shingle Creek Parkway from 65th Avenue North to 67th Avenue
North and James Avenue North from 65th Avenue to 67th Avenue.
1970 -11 Water Main
Shingle Creek Parkway from 65th Avenue North to 67th Avenue
North; on easement overlying the extension of Shingle Creek
Parkway northerly approximately 340 feet; and on easement
northeasterly for a distance of approximately 500 feet to
inplace water main on west line of Outlot B. Twin Cities
Interchange Park, approximately 800 feet south of 69th
Avenue North.
1970 -12 Sanitary Sewer
Shingle Creek Parkway from 65th Avenue North to 67th Avenue
North; on easement overlying the extension of Shingle Creek
Parkway northerly approximately 350 feet; and on easement
northeasterly for a distance of approximately 500 feet to
inplace sanitary sewer on west line of Outlot B, Twin Cities
Interchange Park, approximately 790 feet south of 69th
Avenue North,

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary
and Howard Heck;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
