HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-087 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 87 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTIONS NO. 68 -275, 69 -131 69 -149 AND 69 -214 ADOPTED NOVEMBER 25, 1968, MARCH 24 1969, APRIL 7, 1969 AND MAY 12, 1969 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 68 -275 established Street Grading, Base 8 Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -51, and WHEREAS, Resolutions No. 69 -131 and 69 -149 provided for a public hearing for said improvement project, and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 69 -214 ordered construction of said improvement project, and WHEREAS, subsequent to the establishment and holding of public hearing for said project modifications in the scope of the improvement have made it necessary to delete the base and surfacing from said project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend so much of Resolutions No. 68 -275, 69 -131, 69 -149 and 69 -214 as pertains to street grading, base and surfacing by deleting the words "Base and Surfacing BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to amend so much of Resolutions No. 69 -131 and 69 -214 as pertains to the estimated cost to read "$143,191.00 July 13, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: eeti The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
