HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-092 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -92 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STREET GRADING, BASE 6 SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -13, CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -14 STREET GRADING, BASE SURFACING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -15, CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -16, AND GRADING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1970 -17 AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center requesting Street Grading, Base 6 Surfac- ing Improvement Project No. 1970 -13, Curb 6 Gutter Improvement Project No. 1970 -14, Street Grading, Base 6 Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1970 -15, Curb Gutter Improvement Project No. 1970 -16, and Grading Improvement Project No. 1970 -17, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to initiate said improvement projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement projects, described as follows: 1970 -13 Street Grading, Base 6 Surfacing James Avenue North from 65th Avenue to 67th Avenue, and 67th Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway to James Avenue. 1970 -14 Curb 6 Gutter James Avenue North from 65th Avenue to 67th Avenue, and 67th Avenue North from Shingle Creek Parkway to James Avenue. 1970 -15 Street Grading, Base 6 Surfacing (M.S.A.P.09- 111 -05) 65th Avenue North from approximately 1100 feet west of Humboldt Avenue to Shingle Creek Parkway. 1970 -16 Curb 6 Gutter (M.S.A.P. 09- 111 -05) 65th Avenue North from approximately 1100 feet west of Humboldt Avenue to Shingle Creek Parkway. 1970 -17 Street Grading (M.S.A.P. 09- 109 -06) Shingle Creek Parkway from 65th Avenue North to 67th Avenue North. July 13, 1970 Date L/ Mayor ATTEST: C erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Vernon Ausen, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard, and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
