HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-097 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -97 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -3 (Contract 1969 -C) Grimes Ave. No. from 67th Ave. to approx. 380' north of 67th Ave. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original amount by $360.50 because the Street Department repaired the driveways and adjusted the manholes, catch basins and gate valves. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on February 2, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $681.50. July 27, 1970 Date Mayor v ATTEST: r. ---4 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
