HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-098 CCR Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONd NO. 70 -98 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract between the City of Brooklyn Center and C. S. McCrossan, Inc., the follow- ing improvement has been satisfactorily completed in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -5 (Contract 1969 -C) Humboldt Avenue North from 55th Avenue to 59th Avenue, and 58th Avenue North from approx. 133' west of Humboldt to approx. 134' east of Humboldt Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $682.30 because the water main was installed in the boulevard area and all work was performed by the Brooklyn Center Street Department. 3. Inasmuch as the work was performed by the Street Department, no payment was made to the contractor for said contract for Improvement Project No. 1969 -5. July 27, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: .4'z_ L'l�k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
