HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-099 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -99 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -7 (Contract 1969 -C) Perry Ave. No. from 67th to 69th Ave., and 68th Ave. No. from approx. 135' west of Perry to approx. 135' east of Perry. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $272.48 because additional paving was required on 67th Avenue, 68th Avenue, and 69th Avenue to correct drainage problems. However, the Street Department repaired all driveways and adjusted all manholes, gate valves and catch basins. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on February 2, 1970 taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $3,899.92. July 27, 1970 Date Mayor r ATTEST: (22'erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
