and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -100
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord-
ance with said contract:
Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -25 (Contract 1969 -C)
Oliver Ave. No. 8 Newton Ave. No. from 69th Ave. to approx.
450' north of 69th Ave.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $289.73 because the Street Department repaired
the driveways, and adjusted the manholes, catch basins and gate
valves. However, extra paving was required to correct drainage
problems.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on February 2, 1970 taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
improvement project was $2,168.62.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
