HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-102 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -102 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -31 (Contract 1969 -C) Camden Ave. No. from 59th to 62nd; 62nd Ave. No. from approx.135' west of Camden to Lyndale (W.Frontage Rd.); and 61st Ave. No. from approx. 135' west of Camden to Lyndale (W.Frontage Rd.) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $2,156.79 because the Street Department re- placed all driveways and adjusted all manholes, gate valves and catch basins. Also, the proposed area for paving was decreased due to the installation of curb and .gutter. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on February 2, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $4,568.66. July 27, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: C1�}c The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
