and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 70 -104
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK
(CONTRACTED BY CITY)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the
City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc.
has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord-
ance with said contract:
Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -67 (Contract 1969 -C)
73rd Avenue No. from Lyndale Avenue to Humboldt Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Brooklyn Center:
1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted
and approved.
2. The value of work performed is less than the original
contract amount by $3,193.45 because the Street Department re-
paired all driveways and adjusted all manholes, gate valves and
catch basins. Also, the amount of paving was overestimated.
3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis-
fied on said contract on February 2 1970, taking the contractor's
receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said
improvement project was $7,047.00.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
