HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-105 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -105 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, C. S. McCrossan, Inc. as following h satisfactorily completed the folio in Y P g in accord- P ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -65 (Contract 1969 -C) France Avenue No, from 61st Avenue to 62nd Avenue, and Janet Lane from June Avenue No. to France Avenue No. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $691.34 because the Street Department repaired all driveways and adjusted all manholes, gate valves and catch basins. However, extra paving was added on France Avenue North. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on February 2, 1970, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $4,041.44. July 27, 1970 V�e Date Mayor ATTEST: t;1 e'kKk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
