HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-106 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70 -106 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract between the City of Brooklyn Center and C. S. McCrossan, Inc., the follow- s ing improvement has been satisfactorily completed in accord- ance with said contract: Street Surfacing Improvement Project No. 1969 -71 (Contract 1969 -C) Lyndale Avenue North (West Frontage Road) from 59th Avenue to 61st Avenue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $1,612.04 because the water main alignment was changed to eliminate pavement replacement and the remainder of work was performed by the Brooklyn Center Street Department. 3. Inasmuch as the work was performed by the Street Department, no payment was made to the contractor for said contract for Improvement Project No. 1969 -71. I July 27, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: C&i-k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
