HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970-118 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 70-118 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR OVERHEAD CRANE FOR STREET DEPARTMENT GARAGE WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have reported that on July 6, 1970, at 10:00 A.M., they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of an overhead crane and that said bids were as follows: Bidder Base Bid ACCO Louden $9,774.00 AERA Material Handling 9,175.00 F. H. Bathke Company 9,427.00 Stockwell Equipment Co. 7,56-0.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of Stockwell Equipment Company for the furnishing of an overhead crane in the amount of $7,560.00 in accordance with the specifications is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. ?16 July 27, 1970 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, and Howard Heck; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
