HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-230 CCR Member john Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -230 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ANIMAL CONTROL RATES WHEREAS, Section 1 -103 of the City Ordinances provides for appointment of an animal control officer; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt a schedule of compensation rates for such animal control officer: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the animal control officer shall be compensated as follows: 1. The sum of $5.00 per hour payable in monthly installments. Said sum shall reimburse the animal control officer for the cost and services involved in patrolling the streets and for the general expense of maintaining adequate facilities for performing the required services. 2. The sum of $4.00 for each animal picked up on call. 3. The sum of $3.00 for each animal disposed of pursuant to the animal control agreement. 4. The sum of $1.75 per day for boarding each im ounded animal. May 26, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST C erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. i
