HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-231 CCR t Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -231 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR BACKSTOP EXTENSIONS AND FENCING WHEREAS, The City Manager and Director of Parks and Recreation have reported that on May 20, 1969, at 2 :00 P.M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of backstop extensions and hoods to be erected in certain parks and that said bids were as follows: Project B Project C Project A Fencing- Fencing Bidder Extensions Grandview Riverdale Norm Ganz $300.00 $475.20 $2,643.20 Century Fence No bid 581.48 3,193.88 Crown Iron 343.00 470.00 2,600.00 Designed Fencing No bid 480.00 2,590.00 U. S, Steel No bid 614.00 2,912.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Crown Iron Company in the amount of $3,413.00 for backstop extensions and hoods is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. May 26, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
