HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-232 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -232 F RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM (CONTRACT 1969 -C STREET SURFACING) WHEREAS, the City Clerk and the City Engineer have reported that on May 22, 1969, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., central daylight time, they opened and tabulated bids received for Contract 1969 -C, including Street Surfacing Improvement Projects No. 1969 -3 5 7 9 11 13, 15, 19, 21 23 25 27, 29 31, 63 65 67 6 71, and that said bids were as follows: 1) C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $84,393.50 2) Dunkley Surfacing Co., Inc. $90 3) Hardrives, Inc. $94,954.88 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the bid of C. S. McCrossan, Inc., in the amount of $84 as to furnishing of all work, labor, and material in connection with the above mentioned improvement projects included in Contract 1969 -C, according to the plans and specifications therefor now on file in the office of the City Clerk, is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by A responsible bidder, and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with said bidder. May 26, 1969 Date Mayor l ATTEST: Clerk`/ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
