HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-235 CCR 1 Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -235 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1968 -37 (Contract 1968 -F) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $2,880.40 because the 1" copper service pipe had been substantially over- estimated. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on May 26, 1969, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $18,912.60. May 26, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: �-z- Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
