HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-246 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -246 RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CURB 6 GUTTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1969 -75 WHEREAS, it is proposed that there be constructed an improve- ment consisting of the following: 1969 -75 Curb and gutter on Bryant Avenue North from 59th Avenue to North Lilac Drive; Aldrich Avenue North and Camden Avenue North from 59th Avenue to 62nd Avenue; No. Lilac Drive from Colfax Avenue to Bryant Avenue; 62nd Avenue North from approximately 150 feet west of Bryant Avenue to Camden Avenue; 61st Avenue North from approx- imately 150 feet west of Bryant Avenue to Lyndale Avenue; and 60th Avenue North from approximately 150 feet west of Bryant Avenue to Aldrich Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has made a preliminary report ad- vising that said proposed improvement is feasible and that it can be constructed at an estimated cost of $50,000.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council proposes to proceed under authority granted by Chapter 429, Minnesota Statutes. 2. A public hearing on the proposed improvement shall be held at the City Hall in the City on Monday, the 30th day of June, 1969, at 5:00 o'clock P.M., central daylight savings time, and the Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of hearing by two weeks' publication in the official newspaper of the City. 3. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement is as follows: ALL LOTS AND PARCELS ABUTTING THE ABOVE DESCRIBED STREETS AND /OR.TO BE BENEFITTED BY THE IMPROVEMENT. 4. This proposed improvement shall be designated Curb 6 Gutter Improvement Project No. 1969 -75. June 9, 1969 Date Mavor pro -tem i ATTEST: U� er The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
