HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-248 CCR 249 Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -248 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PORTABLE RADIO UNITS THROUGH HENNEPIN COUNTY PURCHASING AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the County Purchasing Agent has reported that on Tuesday, April 22, 1969 at 2 :00 P. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the Hennepin County Radio System portable radio units and that said bids were as follows: Motorola Communications Radio Corporation of General Electric Electronics, Inc. America Company $1, 033.00 /unit 810.00 /unit $767. 00/unit NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the bid of General Electric Company in the amount of $3,835.00 for five portable radio units in accordance with the specifications is deemed to best the best bid by a responsible bidder, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase such civil defense: equipment through the Hennepin County Purchasing Agreement. June 9, 1969 I Date Mayor Pro -tem ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
