HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-260 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -260 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING CONTRACT FORM FOR BASEBALL BACKSTOPS WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Director of Parks and Recreation have reported that on July 8, 1969 at 2:00 O'clock P. M. Central Daylight Savings Time, they opened and tabulated bids received for baseball back- stops and that said bids were as follows: Century Fence Company 5,074.00 Crown Iron Works 5,173.00 Designed Fencing Company 6,781.00 Norman Ganz 7,133.50 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Century Fence Company in the amount of $5,074.00 is deemed to be the lowest and best bid submitted for said work by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute a contract with said bidder. July 14, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST lerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
