HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-265 CCR 283 Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69-265 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICE GARAGE AND EAST SIDE FIRE STATION AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. The plans and specifications for the Municipal Service Garage and the East Side Fire Station prepared by the Cerny Associates, Inc. are hereby approved and ordered with the Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin on July 31, 1969, August 7, 1969 and August 14, 1969. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City of Brooklyn Center in an amount of not less than 5% of the respective bid. 3. Bid date is set for Thursday, August 21, 1969 at 2 :00 P.M. Central Daylight Savings Time. 4. The City Manager and the City Clerk shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. s R Tuly 28, 1969 Date f',. Mayor ATTEST /,//,1 Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, Earl Rydberg and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
