RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAP;S AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVE
MENT PROJECTS AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
(CONTRACT 1969 -0)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The plans and specifications for the following improve-
ments, prepared by the City Engineer, are hereby approved and
ordered filed with the Clerk:

1969 -76 Water Main Camden Avenue North from 55th Avenue
to 57th Avenue, and 56th Avenue North
from Camden Avenue to 4th Street.
1969 -77 Street Camden Avenue North from 55th Avenue
Surfacing to 57th Avenue, and 56th Avenue North
from approximately 135 feet west of
Camden Avenue to 4th Street.
1969 -78 Water Main Camden Avenue North from 62nd Avenue
to approximately 620 feet north of 62nd
Avenue, and on easement from approxi-
mately 620 feet north of 62nd Avenue to
62nd Avenue North; and Camden Court from
Camden Avenue to approximately 250 feet
east of Camden Avenue.
1969 -79 Street Camden Avenue North from 62nd Avenue to
Surfacing approximately 620 feet north of 62nd
Avenue, and Camden Court from Camden
Avenue to approximately 250 feet east
of Camden Avenue.
1969 -80 Curb 8 Gutter Camden Avenue North from 62nd Avenue to
approximately 620 feet north of 62nd
Avenue, and Camden Court from Camden
Avenue to approximately 250 feet east
of Camden Avenue.
2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvements
by publication at least once in the official newspaper and in the
Construction Bulletin, the date of first publication not less than
ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. Said notice shall
state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and
accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified
check payable to the City Clerk in the amount of not less than five
per cent (50) of the bid.

3. Bid date is set for Monday, September 15, 1969, at 11:00
o'clock A.M., central daylight savings time.
4. The City Manager and City Engineer shall be authorized
to open and tabulate the bids.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary,
Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
