M. C. D. S. McClure Kelly 184, 500.00 Hoglund Plumbing Heating 197, 600.00 and WHEREAS, the combined bids of Berglund Johnson in the amount of $314,720.00, Electric ServiceCompany in the amount of $61, 600. 00, and O'Brien Sheet Metal Company in the amount of $106, 201. 00 constitute the lowest bid combination in the amount of $482,421.00 for the Municipal Service Garage: and WHEREAS, the combined bids of William Kranz in the amount of $184,444. 00 Electric Service Company in the amount of $32, 025.00, and O'Brien Sheet Metal Company in the amount of $71, 267.00 constitutes the lowest bid combination in the amount of $287, 736.00 for the East Side Fire Station; and WHEREAS, the lowest bid combinations for the proposed facilities substantially exceed available funds budgeted for the facilities, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota to reject all bids submitted and to direct Cerny Associates to make appropriate modifications in the plans of the proposed facilities in recognition of bud et limitations. y September 15; 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: i✓Z eu" C 1 rk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
