HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-297 CCR Member John, Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -297 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE DISBURSEMENT OF CASH ESCROW FOR BING'S ADDITION NO. 2 WHEREAS, on December 31, 1968, the City of Brooklyn Center received a Financial Performance Guarantee, along with a cash escrow in the amount of $2,300.00,to guarantee payment for street surfacing, sod, trees and other miscellaneous items in Bing's Addition No. 2 in Brooklyn Center, and WHEREAS, a portion of the street surfacing as guaranteed by the above mentioned cash escrow was duly installed as Project Not 1968 -38, and WHEREAS, the cost attributable to Bing's Addition No. 2 for the above mentioned improvement is $826.75. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center to direct the City Treasurer to negotiate the existing cash escrow and credit the proper con- struction account a total of $826.75, and to retain the balance of the $2 escrow until the additional improvements as provided have been effected. October 6, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Howard Heck and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
