HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-300 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -300 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICE GARAGE AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. The plan specifications for the Municipal Service Garage are hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin on October 30, 1969, November 6, 1969 and November 13, 1969. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City of Brooklyn Center in an amount of not less than S% of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Thursday, November 20, 1969 at 2 :00 P. M. Central Standard Time. 4. The City Manager and the City Clerk shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. October 27, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
