HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-311 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -311 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR EAST SIDE FIRE STATION AND DIRECTING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center as follows: 1. The plans and specifications for the East Side Fire Station are hereby approved and ordered filed with the Clerk. 2. The Clerk shall advertise for bids for such improvement by publication in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin on November 20, 1969, November 27, 1969 and December 4, 1969. Said notice shall state that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, cashier's check or certified check payable to the City of Brooklyn Center in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid. 3. Bid date is set for Thursday, December 11, 1969 at 2 :00 P.M. Central Standard Time. 4. The City Manager and the City Clerk shall be authorized to open and tabulate the bids. November 17, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: C l&r'k The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted againstihe same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
