and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 69 -312
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO WRITE -OFF
UNCOLLECTIBLE CHECKS
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reported that the following checks
made payable to the City of Brooklyn Center Liquor Stores are
uncollectible because the payers' checking accounts upon which they
were drawn have been closed and that attempts to locate the payers
have been unsuccessful:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center to authorize the City Manager to write -off of
the City records as uncollectible the following checks:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Theodore Willard and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen,
John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard;
and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution as delcared duly passed and adopted.
