HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-326 CCR Member Theodore Willard introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. F9 -32 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1969 GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, Section 7.09 of the City Charter of the City of Brooklyn Center does provide for a contingency appropriation as a part of the General Fund Budget and further provides that the contingency appropriation may be transferred to any other appropriation by the City Council; and WHEREAS. Section 7.08 of the City Charter does also provide for the increase of a budget appropriation if the actual receipts exceed the estimates by the City Council: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the 1969 General Fund Budget be amended as follows: 1. Transfer $12,050.00 from the Mayor and Councils Contingency Fund appropriation (Account No. 401 -48) to the following appropriations in the amounts shown: Elections and Voters' Registration Printing and Publishing #404 -21) 1,200.00 Administrative Office, Insurance #4051 -41) 3,000.00 Assessor Labor #4053 -10) 1,500.00 Assessor, Professional and Consultants' Fees #4053 -13) 1,500.00 Independent Audit, Professional Consultants' Fees #4053 -13) 2,300.00 Protective Inspection, Transportation #413 -49 -1) 350.00 Animal Control, Professional Consultants' Fees #416 -13) 2,200.00 2. Increase the appropriation for the following budgeted items in the amount listed for the reason that the actual receipts from the activity exceeded the budget revenue estimate by at least the amount of the appropriation increase: Protective Inspection, Professional and j Consultants' Fees #413 -13) 1 (Additional Revenue- Electrical Permits) Engineering Labor #421 -10) 30,000.00 (Additional Revenue Engineering Fees) Street Construction Maintenance, Labor #422 -10) 35, 000.00 (Additional Revenue Labor charged to Special Assessments and Others) RESOLUTION NO. 69 -326 December 15. 1969 Date G Mayor ATTEST: f �,�-m d.,,, Cler c The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor tYe reof: Philip Cohen, john Leary, Earl Rydberg Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
