HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-332 CCR Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -332 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord ance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -12 (Contract 1969 -B) Colfax Avenue No. from 55th to approx. 240' north of 57th; 56th Ave. No. from 136' west of Colfax to 136' east; and 57th Ave. No. from Colfax to approx. 175' east of Colfax. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $840.70 because of general underestimating of original plan quantities. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on November 24, 1969, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $13,753.20. G.- December 15, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Cylerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
