HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-344 CCR Member Earl Rydberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord- ance with said contract: Water Main Improvement Project No. 1969 -64 (Contract 1969 -B) France Avenue No. from 61st Avenue to 62nd Avenue, and Janet Lane from June Avenue No. to France Avenue No. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed exceeded the original contract amount by $863.05 because four additional water services were placed and Change Order No. 1 added $310.00 for the installation of a 1 -1/2" water service to Lot 1, Block 2, Ewing Lane Addition. 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on November 24, 1969 taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $13,499.65. December 15, 1969 Date `j Mayor ATTEST: Cierk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member john Leary, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
