HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-345 CCR Member John Leary introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -345 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING WORK (CONTRACTED BY CITY) WHEREAS, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. has satisfactorily completed the following improvement in accord ance with said contract: Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 1969 -66 (Contract 1969 -B) Camden Avenue No. from 70th Avenue to 73rd Avenue; 73rd Avenue No. from Lyndale Ave. to approx. 650' west of Camden. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center: 1. The work completed under said contract is hereby accepted and approved. 2. The value of work performed is less than the original contract amount by $689.25 because of general overestimating of plan quantities. (The quantity in the bid proposal for 12" R.C.P. was 90 feet more than actually required by the plan sheets.) 3. It is hereby confirmed that final payment has been satis- fied on said contract on November 24, 1969, taking the contractor's receipt in full. The total amount paid for said contract for said improvement project was $43,289.15. December 15, 1969 4-- Date Mayor ATTEST: C erk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Theodore Willard, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
