HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-118 CCR 173 Member Howard Heck introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 69 -118 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS FOR .BACKSTOP EXTENSIONS AND HOODS WHEREAS, the City Manager and Director of Parks and Recreation have reported that on March 11, 1969 at 2 :00 P. M. they opened and tabulated bids received for the furnishing of backstop extensions and hoods to be erected in certain parks and that said bids were as follows: 15 Steel Back- 1 Aluminum Back- 2 Steel Back Bidder stop Extensions stop Extensions stop Hoods Crown Iron 2226.00 No Bid 900.00 Century Fence 3255.00 296.00 1760.00 Designed Fencing 3420.00 276.00 1142.00 Norm Ganz 2365.00 267.00 No Bid Crowley Fence 2625.00 380.00 1500.00 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Crown Iran Company in the amount of $2,226.00 for 15 steel backstop extensions is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that -the bid of Norman Ganz in the amount of $267.00 for 1 aluminum backstop extension is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the bid of Crown Iron Company in the amount of $900. 00 for 2 steel backstop hoods is deemed to be the best bid submitted by a responsible bidder and said bid is hereby accepted. RESOLUTION NO. 69 -118 March 24, 1969 Date Mayor ATTEST: Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Earl Rydberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Philip Cohen, John Leary, Earl Rydberg, Howard Heck and Theodore Willard; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
